Family Reunion

For my family reunion this year we went to Bryce Canyon. We got there on Thursday the 24th and stayed until Sunday.

We had a central camping area where we all met to visit, eat or sit around the campfire at night.

We visited the wildlife museum. This was my favorite scene. All the animals are displayed in their natural habitats. They have hundreds of animals (stuffed, of course) and cases full of all kinds of butterflies, bugs and spiders.
Outside the kids were able to feed live deer. At first Sydnee was just throwing the corn in for the deer to get, but she finally got the hang of holding it in her hand and letting the deer eat it from her hand.Hunter and Lathan had fun feeding them too.

Bev brought the candy jars. After the candy jars were handed out we ate Paul's delicious barbeque ribs for dinner. We also had chicken, beans, salad and corn. It was all really good. After dinner we had our white elephant gift exchange.

Sydnee loved spending time walking and playing with Diego (Judy's dog). There was a swimming pool at the camp area and also at the Lodge where everyone went swimming. We went shopping at the Lodge. We had supper on Thursday night at the Lodge also. Sunday morning John, Terra and I and the kids went to church in Panguitch before driving home. It was a great reunion. We have decided to wait two years for our next reunion.
